Prioritize and simplify your mental, physical and emotional self-care routine in 2023. Believe you are worth the investment!
It’s the NEW Year and it’s time to kick it up a notch by disrupting your belief system surrounding self-care by learning how to create NEW self-care habits and more importantly, how to sustain them!
You see, self-care isn’t a luxury. It isn’t a bubble bath and face mask (although that can be part of your new routine!). Self-care is a necessity for women.
Our beliefs are shaped by our behaviors. The way we shake up stagnant belief systems that don’t serve us is through small changes in our behavior. We change our behavior through our daily choices and acts of self-love, no matter how seemingly big or small.
One of the main pillars of self-love and respect is learning how to give yourself all the things you didn’t get as a child or while you were growing up. Then, create boundaries with yourself to maintain them over time so you can learn to get your needs met versus outsourcing it to others or making others responsible for it.
However, our hustle and bustle culture has left most of us so disconnected and dissociated from our truest selves, we don’t even know where to begin in creating these new behaviors and rituals.
Luckily, you have the guidance and support needed for lasting, sustainable behavior change in the Epic Self-Care program. Self-care is a HUGE part of the healing process and cultivating it helps us to show up for ourselves and to build self-trust.
FACT: Many of us were raised in shame-based perceptions of discipline- it involved being punished for being “bad” and we may have felt judged or rejected.
It is the reversal of self-betrayal.
This is WHY choosing to make new behaviors is critical. We need to slowly prove to ourselves that we are worth showing up for. In doing this, we build a sense of inner reliability and resilience.
How do you do it?
Well, you achieve this by making and keeping small promises and developing daily routines and habits that support you.
It can be as little as taking 5 minutes a day to sit quietly or disconnect from your phone and allow peace and calm to come over you!
The key is to do something every day, consistently, and build up the trust that you will show up consistently for yourself.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to do this on your own.
