Let me introduce you to Adam!
Man, do I love working with this guy and seeing the transformation in his mind, body, and soul over the past 5 months. He came to me with one simple goal: he wanted to feel lighter.
Have you ever had that desire?
I’m looking at you gentlemen. You with all that success under your belt. You thought life would be a breeze as you found career and financial success. But for so many of you…it’s not.
The world is heavy! There’s a lot on your shoulders. Employees who depend on you, perhaps a family who relies on you, and all of the daily obligations to keep these massive entities in your life afloat and happy.
Doesn’t leave a lot of time for you, does it?
For Adam, a 46 year old Wealth Management CEO, he wanted to break free from the heaviness. He wanted to feel lighter both physically and mentally. Not only did he need to set goals and boundaries around his food and alcohol consumption, but also, he needed accountability to say “no” and set boundaries in his company and with clients. He wanted to be less anxious and more in control of his time.
Adam says in his video above:
She has helped me be very goal focused and is making me accountable for everything that I am doing in a positive, supportive, and goal-oriented way.”
Adam reached out to me after attending a retreat that I hosted in 2019. The retreat was focused on learning how to shift your old identity and stepping into a higher version of self. A couple months later, we connected and started to design and map out new habits to help him reach his goals.
I’ve worked with Melissa now for almost 5 months and it’s been a great experience,” Adam said. “The emphasis has been on nutrition, rest, exercise, supplements, and also creating boundaries in my personal life to make sure that I make myself a priority.”
He is taking accountability for his life, his actions, and his habits.
He is making the time to focus on himself when it seemed like there was no time before.
He made the conscious decision to make himself a priority – knowing it was the only way he could best serve others.
This is what it takes to be an Epic Man.
Asking for help, recognizing the unhealthy habits that distract instead of heal, and digging deep, getting honest, and doing the work to face ourselves and the things we need to do to preserve our health and well-being.
In our time together, Adam has made amazing progress. Some of his achievements include:
- Losing 20lbs and getting back to his college weight
- Decreased happy hour visits to hardly zero a week which helped him with his cocktail consumption
- Stopped night snacking on sugary foods
- Up by 6:00am Monday through Friday so he can get in his workouts and morning time for himself
- Actively tracks his food for accountability to learn how much sodium and sugar he is consuming
He mentions:
If you want to level-up your life – whether it be nutrition, attitude, or health – Melissa will build you up throughout the process in such a positive way.”
Looking to up-level your life? Let’s chat.
You matter.
Healthy Epic Hugs,
Melissa
