This dedicated month spans 31 days aimed at shedding light on and diminishing the stigma surrounding mental health conditions, disabilities, treatments, and related matters. It’s an opportune time to delve into the significance of prioritizing mental well-being.
Personally, I’ve witnessed the challenges firsthand, as both my parents grapple with various mental health disorders ranging from anxiety to depression. Their experiences underscore the pervasive impact mental illness has on millions of lives daily.
Throughout May, let’s engage in open discussions about mental health to enhance our knowledge and foster greater understanding, ultimately advancing collective efforts toward improved mental well-being.
